While the kids made Homes.... the adults drank tea.

So the launch of our new 'Self-build and community led housing training and build space' (Can someone come up with a shorter title?) kicked off to a great start, with the young people cracking on building some homes.......and getting their hands on the power tools, while the adults sat around and drank tea!.

A massive thank you to everybody who joined us for the Home-Made: Lockleaze inaugural event at the Wordsworth Centre. With information on housing, energy and community-led design, visitors got to learn a bit about plans for the space and how they can get involved into the future.

Interesting talks and discussions, fun activities for the family, and having a chance to get involved. Having a go using tools, starting off creating homes for the bees, and getting mucky with 'Biggle's bike spin painting machine.

A special thanks also goes to Buzz Lockleaze for providing some delicious soup and other nourishments.
